We are delighted to have won the award for Best Workplace for Learning and Development – Under 1,500 Nursing Staff. This award recognised medium to large employers that prioritise learning and development opportunities, using the resources available to them to offer a wide-ranging portfolio of CPD options to its nursing and midwifery staff.

In collaboration with various Health and Social Care stakeholders, Health Education England and Praeceptor Consulting, we identified a development need amongst support staff and have enhanced an already existing qualification (L3 Higher Development Award) and added a new qualification at Level 2 (L2 Higher Development Award) to cater for all learner needs and aspirations. The qualification is designed to build on the expansive knowledge support staff already hold, give further tools to increase awareness and improve patient outcomes.

We are incredibly honoured to be recognised for our efforts to support staff in their development to deliver their role in the best way they can in an everchaging Health & Care system. Well done to the staff at Lambeth College continuously working hard to promote staff development within the Health and Care industry, We will continue to work hard to support the development of clinical and non-clinical staff across health, social, primary and charity care organisations.
